Common Settings for Calligraphy Activation
A customer asked me to write his girlfriend's name as she was shopping around the store. He wanted me to do this secretly and for her not to see. As they exited the store, she really wanted her name written. He told her, "Let's go, we don't have time!" He then snuck her name into his coat jacket.
A customer was smelling the perfume on the table next to me. I told her how good it smelled and that he price was reasonable &...bonus, I am writing names on the box. She wanted it for herself but I think she felt guilty about doing that during the holidays (even though I insisted she should!) She didn't end up gettin get perfume but I did write her name on a postcard. She cam back a few hours later after my shift was nearly through and asked me if I would consider writing her name in her Bible. Her bible was well loved... and had been in her car.
A customer purchased a beautiful sage green notebook for her daughter who is going to be studying abroad in Australia. The journal is intended for her use while living there... documenting travels, etc. Mom and daughter (the sister) were picking the gift out together. Mom started to cry as I wrote her daughter's name thinking about her daughter being so far away.
